Terrorists Could Use Twitter!




















WOMMA.......Search Marketing Gurus (SMG) has blogged a great post questioning a recent US Army report that "Terrorists could theoretically use Twitter social networking in the U.S. as an operation tool." SMG, for their part, gives the layman and average Twittterer some credit and points out that most "human beings can spot a whack job a mile away."

At the very least, should some individual be spouting terrorist-like ideologies on a website, SMG explains that such a post would be policed internally or turned over to the relevant authorities. Social networks do not exist in a vacuum, and SMG correctly brings to light what appears to be a gross misunderstanding of the inner workings of websites like Twitter.
